"The Jam" Thursday

It's that time again, it's Thursday! And's HALLOWEEN!  Happy Halloween everybody! I've always been a fan of Halloween, yes as kids it was a time to look forward to because you could gorge yourself on sweet treats, dress up and go trick or treating with your friends around the neighborhood. Now that I'm older and I don't do that any more (I'm the one handing out the treats to the kids) I still enjoy this time of year because of the fun times you have carving pumpkins, decorating your home and interacting with the kids excitedly anticipating trick or treating.

So how appropriate is it that on Thursday when I usually share my favorite jams to run and groove to, that Halloween would fall on it this year and I can share a Halloween themed jam. YAY!

Today's jam should be of no surprise to anyone. This is such an iconic song and has been popular since the moment it was released. It was performed by the King of Pop himself and still to this day invokes a certain twinge of scaredy-pants apprehension when I listen to this in the dark.

Today's jam is:

What would Halloween be without "Thriller"? Such a geniously concepted and executed video and the song is just so damn catchy. Whether you are trick or treating with your little ones tonight, or handing out sugary goodies to the ones coming to your door, have a great Halloween and enjoy the last day of October! Next time I see you it will be next month and in a new time! Remember daylight savings ends this weekend, we "fall back" on Saturday night and gain another hour. Yay for more sleep, boo for it getting darker earlier.
Have a Happy Halloween!

  1. Happy Halloween Lena! Love Thriller, perfect for today. It now reminds me of Disney b/c at the dance party the dj was teaching everyone how to do the dance and we had such a good time!

  2. Happy Halloween! My friend was actually just a part of a flash mob and they performed Thriller! :) Thanks for the reminder about daylight savings- I totally forgot!

  3. Hope you had a great Halloween! That song is so appropriate!
