Go ahead...you can hate, it's alright, I still like you. :)
Today is a long day for me at work as I have to stay late. I'm meeting up with some friends to go running after work and they get done at least an hour and a half later than me. Ugh. We are doing long hill training in preparation for the Rock n Roll Seattle course. The route has long gradual hills, not a lot of steep short ones, so preparation and training for those is different. Doing lots of short steep hills during your training isn't going to help me with the long haul hills during the race. So that's what's on the docket for this afternoon.
Today is Thursday and time to share another "jam" for the week. This one has been out for a couple of years and you still can hear it almost daily on the Top 40 stations, so obviously people are still liking this song. The group hasn't really released anything since and have kind of dropped off the radar. So today's "jam" is:
I will have to admit to you, when this song first was released, I couldn't stand it. I would change the station everytime it came on. Then one day I wasn't able to change the station and had to listen the whole way through and realized, oh...this is actually quite catchy! I kinda like it. Then as I would listen to it more and more, I liked it more and more. So now it's on my list and I get a lift in spirits when this song comes over my earbuds. Hope you enjoy and have a great Thursday!
I've had songs like that, that grew on me! Have fun with those hills tonight and enjoy your weekend!!
ReplyDeleteI find I run into those songs more and more. I reject them initially and then end up loving them. So silly.
DeleteI feel like this has been a song in one of the group fitness classes I take at my gym. It's fun and has a good beat. Two thumbs up!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on those hills tonight!
Thanks for the thumbs up, lady! Glad you like it!
DeleteI am pretty jealous that you have so many Fridays off! I work in the service industry, so Fridays are mandatory unless you take vacation. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteYour jam is on my playlist. It was suggested by another friend when I was compiling a playlist last year. I still enjoy it. :)
Good luck on the hill training!
I'm in the service industry as well, I work for Holland America Line. We have a fairly new policy that allows us to take 9/80's. It's tough working essentially 10 hour days almost every day, but that one day off makes it worth it at times!
DeleteGlad you like the song! It's a fun one, huh?
