There's still time! :)

I'm not fast by any means. :) We'll have to find each other in the masses of people. :) Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13666562341448768865noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8115633875439405682.post-76279648464362820662013-06-19T07:43:16.759-07:002013-06-19T07:43:16.759-07:00Thanks Kim! The time limit of getting times into runDisney by the first of July kinda blows, would be nice to make the adjustments at the expo like before, but I digress.

Oh YAY! We may be in the same corral! Awesome!! That would be fun to have a running buddy, well at least for a little while, I think you're faster than I am. :) Lenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02497080625352955794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8115633875439405682.post-77843589180534907852013-06-18T22:53:16.284-07:002013-06-18T22:53:16.284-07:00Great job on the race! I love the little competition at the end. :) I was thinking about looking for a 10k to submit a better time for Dumbo, but alas, I just don't have time. Based on your time, we might be in the same corral! :) Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13666562341448768865noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8115633875439405682.post-23679312908247635852013-06-18T12:51:40.165-07:002013-06-18T12:51:40.165-07:00Oh yeah, that time will get you in there. Just make sure you pay attention to when the deadline is to submit your time so you don't get stuck in the back. ;)Lenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02497080625352955794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8115633875439405682.post-9930657695530415972013-06-18T12:14:11.788-07:002013-06-18T12:14:11.788-07:00Well, if I can figure out how to internet chat, th...Well, if I can figure out how to internet chat, that sounds fun! LOL. I'm hoping for corral C with my 1:08:11 time (unless I better that with my fall 10K)...I'm unsure though since I know they are changing things up a bit this year with the corrals. I think if I just mentally prepare myself for mass-overcrowded-zigzagging, maybe it won't be as bad as I envision. Or it will be just as bad but at least I will be prepared! ;)Karen Orozcohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14119330782581322240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8115633875439405682.post-18404714610340112852013-06-18T11:29:19.981-07:002013-06-18T11:29:19.981-07:00It really depends on your corral and if you stop t...It really depends on your corral and if you stop to take pictures at the official stops, oh and there is some bottle necking throughout the course.

I'm going to prep you now. It will be crowded, you will have to dodge walkers/slow runners and it will be difficult to keep a steady pace. I know lots of people who had been able to get a good steady pace going, but they were commonly in corrals A-C. It really is about finding your groove and not letting things get to you. You will be bumping into people, people will be bumping into you, groups of people will walk the entire width of the street and you are forced to run around them on the grass shoulder. I will tell you that I spent a good majority of the race running on the shoulder of the course because it was so crowded.

We should have an internet chat sometime to talk about things!Lenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02497080625352955794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8115633875439405682.post-76952958549936010692013-06-18T11:19:07.630-07:002013-06-18T11:19:07.630-07:00Oh no! I couldn't get my groove on for at least a mile until it thinned out and I doubt it ever thins out during the PHM, right?
